Who’s have thought art class could be so stressfull?

Oh God. They’re all staring. I knew I shouldn’t have tried something so brash on my first attempt. Oh God. What am I going to do?

“Oh my” says Mrs. Thaliog, my teacher.

I must be blushing so hard. Oh God. I’ve got to say something. Anything. Just SAY something!

“Do…do you not like it?” Ok, that was good. Now to get through this. Oh, God, help me. There must be so much blood in my cheeks right now; it’s a wonder I haven’t fainted.

“Mikey…” Oh no, she’s going to punish me! I’ll be thrown to the lions for this, for sure. Everyone knows the bad kids get thrown to the lions. Oh God!

They’re still staring. Oh, why did I have to show it them? This was a stupid idea. I wish I’d just kept it a secret. I’m such an idiot. The shock’s going to wear off in a minute, and everyone is going to laugh at me.

“Mikey” she says again.

“I’m really sorry! I’ll get rid of it! Oh God, please, I didn’t mea-”

“Sorry? Whatever for?”

I didn’t think it was possible, but I’m blushing harder. Oh god, my legs are swaying. What’s she doing? Oh no, the inscription! Please don’t read it out, it’s only the name! Please don’t, everyone’ll laugh! Oh God. She’s going to-

“…David?” she says. What? She’s smiling?

“Well, Mikey, you’re going to have to have a little more imagination than this. Hah! David? What sort of a name is that for a masterpiece like this?”
